About Me

I am a recent Journalism graduate from Indiana University Indianapolis, where I earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, and another in Philanthropic Studies. This dual academic background has shaped my ability to tell impactful stories while understanding the deeper role media plays in community engagement and social good.

My passion lies in telling stories that matter stories that inform, connect, and inspire.

With hands-on experience across multiple media platforms, I have developed a dynamic voice in both broadcast and written journalism. I currently work with Urban One, where I serve as a news anchor for WIBC and contribute written content to B105.7, a leading pop station. In these roles, I deliver timely news coverage while engaging audiences through compelling and accessible storytelling.

My broadcast background also includes hosting my own radio show, Sunday Evenings with Angelique, on 98.9 WYRZ. During my year on air, I curated music from the 1950s through the mid-1980s while blending in conversations about pop culture, personal experiences, and the stories behind the music creating a space that resonated with a wide and diverse audience. I also have a podcast called No Manual Included which airs every week. You can listen to my podcast on Apple Podcast, Youtube, and Spotify.

From reporting breaking news to hosting meaningful conversations, I believe journalism goes beyond sharing facts it’s about creating human connection and sparking dialogue. I am especially drawn to stories that amplify underrepresented voices and strengthen the fabric of our communities.

Whether I’m behind the mic, in front of the camera, or out in the field, I bring curiosity, clarity, and heart to every assignment. I am currently seeking opportunities in reporting, broadcast journalism, and talk show hosting, where I can use my voice to elevate others and make a meaningful impact through storytelling.

This is a Gardening Show with Zach Galifianakis

In the show, his jokes come fast and strange in the best w...
